Iron Blight Full Walkthrough: Campaign Route and Objectives
Follow the Iron Blight campaign from the prologue to Prasnova, with key-item checkpoints, puzzle links, inventory priorities, and Patch 1.04 notes.
On this page+
Use this spoiler-aware Iron Blight walkthrough when the objective text stops being enough. The short route is: finish the prologue, clear St. Toma Dormitory for the Car Battery, follow the Prasnova tool chain into the workshop, solve the route gates, then complete the late repair and return sequence. Keep a save before major machinery and treat named key items as mandatory until their route prompt is complete.
Spoiler scope: This hub names required areas, tools, and objective hand-offs, but keeps exact room solutions on the linked detail pages. Open a puzzle page only when you want its direct answer.
Route at a glance
| Campaign segment | Keep or collect | Open the detailed page when you need it |
|---|---|---|
| Prologue and Dimitrov Residence | OTs-48K and TT-33; a pre-St. Toma save | Continue below for the story-safe route. |
| St. Toma Dormitory | Car Battery, then exit tools | St. Toma route for rooms and item order. |
| Prasnova and Workshop | Crowbar → Spade → keys → Punch Card → Blowtorch | Prasnova route or Workshop route. |
| Police Station and ending | Boat key, then Pump Gauge, Drive Belt, and Jerry Can | Police Station route for the approach; open the puzzle page only for its code. |
Before you begin
- Update Steam first. Patch 1.04 added Save & Quit, map pins for the Workshop Key and Blowtorch, and several progression-relevant fixes.
- Carry the current route item instead of storing it. A named key or tool can look optional until you reach its matching interaction.
- Keep one or two free inventory cells before an objective room. Attachments can be installed to free loose-item space.
- If you are starting a challenge run, read difficulty and modes and the achievement guide first.
1. Prologue and Dimitrov Residence
Finish the prologue to earn I'll Be Back. The opening provides the OTs-48K and TT-33 very early; choose a compact loadout instead of treating every early pickup as something to carry. Make a separate save before transitioning into St. Toma so a later route problem does not force a full restart.
2. St. Toma Dormitory
Your immediate aim is to leave St. Toma with the Car Battery. The important route chain is Lead Pipe, TOZ-34, Medium Backpack, Hammer, TT-33 Laser Sight, Bolt Cutter, the gate key, then the Car Battery. The exact room order, optional pickups, and safe inventory choices are on the St. Toma Dormitory walkthrough.
Do not discard the Bolt Cutter because a nearby door rejects it. Use it only at its intended chained barrier, keep the key through its matching access, and make room for the Battery before the final sweep. Completing this area earns Nobody Sleeps Here Anymore.
3. Prasnova: tools before optional weapons
After the Battery transition, the main progression order is Crowbar → Spade → Midtown Key → Circuit Board → Connector Key → Workshop Alley Key. The route also passes optional firearms, upgrades, and backpacks; take the current tool before a weapon or attachment if the grid is tight.
The Prasnova route guide gives the detailed landmark order. Patch 1.04 added map pins for the Workshop Key and Blowtorch, so open the map again if an older guide screenshot does not match your build.
4. Workshop route and puzzles
The Workshop Alley Key opens the industrial chain. Follow it to the brick office for the Punch Card puzzle, then collect the Blowtorch. The card is not a loose container drop: read the nearby protocol, operate the green machine, and interact again to take the completed card.
Later, the Police Station route uses a camera-switch puzzle. Its direct puzzle solution gives the current known setting and the next objective without making you search through the whole route.
5. Late Prasnova and the ending route
The late repair chain uses the Pump Gauge, Drive Belt, and Jerry Can. Collect the complete set before returning to the mechanism, rather than making repeated trips through the same hostile spaces. The launch hotfix and early patches addressed boat and progression blockers, so load a pre-interaction save and check the patch notes if the objective does not advance on a current build.
Finishing Prasnova earns Prasnova No More; completing the campaign earns End Of The Line. For weapons, attachments, and collection goals before the final sequence, use the weapons guide, attachment checklist, and all achievements guide.
If the walkthrough no longer matches your game
First confirm the installed version in Steam, then reload a save from before the affected door, machine, or repair interaction. Do not apply a launch-week workaround automatically: patches have changed save triggers, map behavior, doors, puzzle behavior, and enemy interactions. Report a mismatch with the map area, objective text, and game version so the route can be retested.
Verification note
This hub was updated on September 6, 2026 against the official Steam announcements through Patch 1.04 and the site's route evidence. Individual room layouts and puzzle answers should always be checked against the detailed linked page and your current game build.
